A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTORS
Welcome to the League of Extraordinary Children!
This dream began with two generations and one shared mission: to create a nurturing, joyful space where children are celebrated, supported, and inspired to grow into their best, most extraordinary selves.
As a mother-daughter team, we opened our doors in July of 2019 with a clear vision: to build a daycare where every child feels safe, loved, and seen — and where parents feel like true partners in their child’s early education journey. With years of combined experience in childcare and a deep love for our community, we knew this was more than just a daycare — it was a calling.
From the very beginning, our goal has been to offer more than just care. We foster creativity, confidence, and connection through intentional learning, laughter, and a whole lot of love. Our incredible team of teachers shares our heart-led mission and treats every child like family.
We’re proud of the village we’ve built and would be honored to have your family become a part of it.
With love and gratitude,
Lauren & Marlene Garcia

WE LOVE
LEARNING
At League of Extraordinary Children, we follow The Creative Curriculum, a nationally recognized, play-based approach that nurtures your child’s development across all areas—social, emotional, physical, and academic.
Our curriculum begins in the infant room and grows with your child through each classroom using a scaffolded learning approach. Lessons are thoughtfully infused into each day through hands-on exploration, imaginative play, and meaningful social interactions—in both English and Spanish.
Every child receives access to our curriculum at no additional cost to families. Lead Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering daily lessons, and we hold family-teacher conferences twice a year to support open communication and celebrate progress.
Our goal is simple: to prepare your child for lifelong learning—in a way that’s fun, empowering, and truly extraordinary.

OUR STAFF
At the League of Extraordinary Children, we believe that consistency, collaboration, and continuous growth are the foundation of a thriving learning environment. Our team works closely together through regular planning sessions, shared training experiences, and group activities that bring both children and staff together across classrooms.
Each caregiver is encouraged to bring their unique strengths, passions, and teaching styles into the classroom, creating a rich and dynamic experience for every child.
To ensure the highest standard of care, all staff members complete ongoing professional development through state-required courses, hands-on training, and workshops led by certified experts in early childhood education. Every team member is also fully certified in CPR and First Aid — because your child’s safety is our top priority.
