Director's Welcome
We opened the doors at the League of Extraordinary Children in July of 2019. It has always been a lifelong dream and we're so happy that it has finally come into fruition. Our goal is to create an environment for our students to feel safe, grow and learn. We have the most loving and caring staff and we would love to have your family join ours. Join the LEAGUE today! :)
Our Philosophy and Mission
The League of Extraordinary Children aims to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children 6 weeks to 13 years old. The focus is to provide stimulating childcare with educational experience which will promote each child’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. The goal is to support children’s desire to be lifelong learners.
At League of Extraordinary Children, the mission is to provide child care that meets the needs of each child and family in a safe and educational environment. The League focuses on the individual needs of each child, while providing quality, reliable, and safe child care.
League of Extraordinary Children’s goals are:
-
To provide affordable, convenient, dependable child care services
-
To create a child care setting for social, cognitive, and physical development
-
To provide a nurturing environment
-
To provide learning experiences for our children
The League strives to maintain continuity and consistency throughout the program by conducting cooperative staff planning, training and a variety of joint activities involving the various groups of children. In this context, all caregivers at League of Extraordinary Children are encouraged to express their individual educational strengths as they work with children and in their cooperative efforts with other staff members.
When families enroll in the League of Extraordinary Children, children will receive the best care the industry has to offer.

The Environment
We strive to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth. We believe in being supportive of our parents and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at all times. We further believe that within our environment, children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of our society.
Our Staff
The League strives to maintain continuity and consistency throughout the program by conducting cooperative staff planning, training and a variety of joint activities involving the various groups of children. In this context, all caregivers at League of Extraordinary Children are encouraged to express their individual educational strengths as they work with children and in their cooperative efforts with other staff members.
We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR.
Martha, Grandmother
Before The League opened in the summer of 2019 they published an activity calendar for the summer months. I wanted to join, I wanted to participate! Luckily, I was blessed with a grandson and we were able to enroll him in this wonderful facility. The staff is absolutely amazing and this positive energy makes the children and their families feel more than welcome. We are made to feel like part of a larger family. I cannot wait for the post-pandemic re-opening!

I love this daycare! It's like a home for my six kids that attend here and they feel like they are at home. The staff here is beyond nice, professional, and attentive. I have no worries when I am at work. They do the amazing activities with all the kids. My two year old twins learned everything before they turned two and even Spanish highly recommend and glad I found this lovely place.
